Customer: Hi, I tried to convert the HTML from my Sendinblue form but after clicking on Process Code it gets stuck, I can see a spinning wheel and it won't stop.

This was the code:

<div class="wrapper" style="width: 540px; margin: 0px auto 80px; text-align: left;">

<form class="description" style="padding: 3px; text-align: center; border: 0px none; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; >

.... CODE CUT OUT ....

Support: You wouldn't happen to have WordFence installed would you?

Customer: Yes, I have Wordfence.

Support: Set it to Training mode, then run the Process Code on MAB again. This is so WordFence will "learn" about this Process Code function and not block it.

Customer: I can't see this Training mode, where is it?

Support: Sorry, my memory failed me. WordFence calls it Learning mode https://docs.wordfence.com/en/Web_Application_Firewall_-_How_to_use_Learning_Mode

And there's a picture here somewhere

Customer: Thanks, found it

 You should have already added the action box to your header. If not, please see this forum thread https://prosulum.zendesk.com/entries/21306111-Can-you-use-Magic-Act...

Next, you need to enable the Horizontal Layout setting. To do that, edit your action box, then, look for the "Enable Horizontal Layout" option and enable it.

Hello, I'm using the free version of Magic Action Box for Wordpress with Mailchimp as my email provider. I created an Action Box, copied the "Naked" code from Mailchimp and enter the button text, generated the code and selected it to appear at the footer after my blog post. However, when it appears in the footer there is an extra form entry box that does not belong there nor do I know how its getting there. When I copy the form from Mailchimp it has 3 entries: email, first name, last name. However as you can see here there is an extra box. Please help!

Hi Melody,

It's a new thing with Mailchimp.

They have a new field that's hidden. It's a honeypot. A *fake* field
that robots will fill out but *human* users shouldn't see.

In the Processed Opt In Form Code field (after you click on Process Code
button), look for something similar to this line of code (the numbers will be different for your code):

<input type="text" name="b_07995ab87dd447565a42586ee_c8cc28e061" value="">

It should be somewhere near the end and it should surrounded by other code
so that it looks like this:

<div class="mab-field">

<input type="text" name="b_07995ab87dd447565a42586ee_c8cc28e061">

in the <div class="mab-field"> html tag, edit it and add style="position:
absolute; left: -5000px;" to the attributes so that it now looks like:

<div class="mab-field" style="position: absolute; left: -5000px;">

<input type="text" name="b_07995ab87dd447565a42586ee_c8cc28e061">

Or, you can delete the whole thing but spam robots may get in.

That worked, Thank you!

Hey Ryann & Dean,

I’ve just purchased Magic Box Pro. I’ve just spent some time in Photoshop and I have the particulars of how I’d like my box to look. Let me know if this is too much trouble and I can simplify it.

Background – Sage Green #879380

Text – White #FFFFFF – Change your thinking & you change your life. Join me for inspiration that can change the way you think.

Name/Email – Light Blue #4FBAD8

Boxes – White #FFFFFF

Button – Magenta #6B0427

(text on button “yes, please”)

My banner is 980 pixels wide, I believe.

This site is my inspiration: http://www.yourcourageouslife.com/

Thanks again!

Hi Cindy,

First, we need to get the action box into your header area so you can see it in action right away. Now, this really wasn't something that we envisioned the plugin would be used. Magic Action Box was created as an easy way to add action boxes before and after blog posts because we saw that that's where the biggest potential for converting visitors lay. but fortunately it's flexible enough to be used for this purpose.

To get the action box into the header area, you'll probably need to edit the header.php file of your theme and add the following php code in the area you want the action box to show up:

<?php echo mab_get_actionbox(ID_OF_ACTIONBOX); ?>

ID_OF_ACTIONBOX is the ID number of the action box you want to show in the header area, so the php code should look something like this:

<?php echo mab_get_actionbox(158); ?>

You can then use any of the preset box designs or create your custom style.

To create your own custom style for the header, go to Magic Action Box Settings -> Add Style and name this style however you want to remember it i.e. "Header Box"

In the General Tab, set the Background color to sage green like you said #879380 in the first email.

Then, in the Content Copy tab, make sure the Main Copy Color is white #ffffff and set the Font Size to 17 (or whatever)

Let's jump the Main and Sub Heading tabs since you're not using those.

In the Form Elements tab, let's go through each section:

1. Form Labels section. Set the color to #ffffff. Actually, not sure if this is what you meant by light blue
#4FBAD8 if so, go ahead and change the color. Also, set the font size to 15.
2. Input Boxes section: Set the color to #4FBAD8. This is actually, the setting for the text boxes.
3. Submit Button: Set the Background to #6B0427 and Background Hover to something a bit lighter like say #A2063B. Set the Border to 1px / #56031F / Solid and Border Hover to the same.

Now, go to the Others Tab and add the following custom css:

.userstyle-1.magic-action-box .mab-main-copy{ float: left; width: 290px; margin-right: 10px; }

.userstyle-1.magic-action-box .mab-main-action-wrap{ float: left; }

This will put the main text and the form beside each other.

Also add this:

.userstyle-1.magic-action-box .mab-main-action-wrap .mab-field label{ display: inline; }

This will line up the labels with the input fields.

Then lastly for removing some space above and below the form:

.userstyle-1.magic-action-box .mab-main-action-wrap form{ margin: 0; }

That's it. hit save.

Now, in your header box action box, under the Action Box styles dropdown, select User Styles and another dropdown should show up. You should find the custom style you created.
