I just plonked an existing MAB on the bottom of my homepage at http://www.geekandjock.com
I'm troubled as the CSS is looking crap on the home page and it looks kinda OK at http://www.geekandjock.com/what-is-flight-or-fight-syndrome-in-a-relationship
Is this some !important CSS thing? Is there anyway to have the CSS for MABs to be displayed as all !important and still retain the theme's correct CSS display ... or am I on the wrong track and know nothing about how CSS works? :)
Any pointers would be cool.
Hi Martin, I assume you are using shortcodes with this one? hmmmmm.. we
keep getting this issue. not actually with the plugin. a copy and paste
1. Edit the post
2. Switch to HTML View
3. Go look at your shortcode
4. I'm pretty sure it will be something like <code>[magicactionbox]</code>
5. Remove the surrounding <code> tags.
Let us know if that works.
as for putting !important to everything, not really a good idea (and yes
we've thought of that) since it'll now be harder (based on experience
very annoying) for users who know css to override our styles with their
own styles. We're still trying to find a good balance between which
styles to !important on and which we'll leave to the theme to override.
Not easy as each theme is different.
I should have picked that one up myself when I saw the font type - old brains tend to be slow in the morning :)
Thanks heaps for that and the quick reply and fix too.
Have an awesome day, mate.
